ARTICLE 2: Tyler’s first boxing bout

Massive well done to Tyler who stepped into the ring for his first boxing bout on Sunday 🥊 He showed impressive physical and mental resilience, determination and skill far beyond anything that we would expect at this stage of his development.
After suffering a standing count within the first minute, he picked himself up and gave his opponent a standing count at the end of the first round himself. Gaining loads of confidence as he boxed brilliantly in the second working behind his jab. Unfortunately, he got an another standing count towards end of the 3rd and final round but still managed to go again, forcing his opponent onto the back foot and fighting with great spirit and determination all the way to the final bell. Losing on points in arguably the best bout of the afternoon.
We are so so proud of how far he’s come and how well he performed. Gaining valuable experience to become the boxer we all know he is capable of becoming.
